It can be a bit noisy with the elderly gentleman that go in at 5-6pm. It does stay open later than most pubs around here. I have stayed twice here recently in September and November. I can highly recommend this Pub and Inn. Clean, warm, airy bedroom with great ensuite washing and snack facilities. We had an evening meal both times which was delicious and home freshly cooked by the chef who is also the proprietor. Love the faggots and mash although I can recommend the smash and sausages as well. Had a great full English breakfast both times when the owner really put himself out for us so breakfast was served an hour before normal hours to accommodate my schedule.
