Croome Court
Distance: 2.7 miles
Croome Court, part of the National Trust, is a stunning mid-18th-century Neo-Palladian mansion near Upton-Upon-Severn surrounded by extensive landscaped parkland. There’s plenty to see and do all year around; view one of the contemporary exhibitions and installations, discover the secrets of World War || airbase at the RAF Defford house, or enjoy one of the mansions many walks surrounded by an array of magnificent countryside.
Tewkesbury Abbey

Tewkesbury Abbey is a stunning structure and the Norman tower can be seen from miles away. It’s been an imposing feature of the town’s landscape for nearly 900 years and is a must-see if you’re in the area. The abbey was founded here in the 10th century and was originally used as the church for the Benedictine Monastery. After the detachment of the monasteries it became the parish church for the town of Tewkesbury. The 15th century stained glass and unique roof bosses are some of the features that give the abbey its brilliant appearance.
Upton upon Severn

Upton upon Severn looks like many another country towns upon first glance, however its appearance conceals a secret past. It used to the only river crossing available for many miles and it was also a port, booming with vessels carrying goods to and from the rich agricultural areas around it. Today, tourists and boat owners have taken over for a more leisurely environment. On the East bank is a flourishing marina, and Upton’s historic success can be seen in its variety of captivating old buildings. The town offers some great places to eat and drink along with many independent shops.
